My first real project was a dress I created out of college pamphlets–I was frustrated by all of the waste from the pounds of college postcards I got between junior and senior year of high school. I had a rough idea of what I wanted to build, and then I just let the paper show me what it wanted do. Since then, I've primarily worked in fabric, but I've always been inspired by the possibilities of other materials.
